Ashla Soter, a member of the Producers Guild of America, is a seasoned Producer and Production Executive known for overseeing projects from development through delivery. She consistently brings projects in on budget, remains deeply passionate about the production process, and continually seeks ways to maximize efficiency while exceeding quality expectations.
Maximizing Production, Elevating Storytelling
Currently, Ashla serves as Manager of Original Content Production at Tubi, where she leads Production and Post-Production across a high-volume slate of scripted and unscripted originals. Her work at Tubi includes the animated series Breaking Bear, the network’s first talk show We Got Time Today, the scripted original The Z Suite, the Stubios initiative, the live special Tubi Red Carpet at the Super Bowl, and the breakout hit Sidelined, which has expanded into a sequel.
From Concept to Screen, With Impact
Based in Los Angeles, California, Ashla brings over a decade of experience producing feature films, documentaries, unscripted television, short-form content, and major commercial campaigns. She has collaborated with leading brands, networks, and platforms including Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, TLC, A&E, Magnolia Network, HP, Lowe’s and Hi-Ball to name a few.
Notable projects include the documentary The Chainsaw Artist, featuring Clint Eastwood and Sam Elliott, which received national press coverage from Good Morning America, Extra, Broadway World, and Variety, where Ashla was recognized for producing the film at just twenty-two years old. Additional work includes the unscripted series Adults Adopting Adults(for which she produced the entire first season), the Alma x Kate Hudson campaign, Topo Chico Sabores, Complex: First We Feast for Espolòn Tequila, and the web series The Room Actors: Where Are They Now, based on viral movie The Room.
